Time to get a bit art and crafty with ‘back to nature’ and with the festive season descending rapidly we though why offer the opportunity to demonstrate some dexterity.
some of the material was gathered on the Moors themselves, whilst some was ‘gathered’ from municipal sites where garden varieties offer variegated leaves and some diversity during the winter months.
This opportunity was really well attended with faces from around the centre joining in for the first time and some very poignant dedications on the wreaths at this time of year. The weather was good we sat in the sunshine and there is something about working with your hands and sitting around that is very therapeutic. I think you will agree that some of the work is really good considering for many this was their first time working with natural materials and weaving.
